Bio
Jason & Elle are a husband and wife music duo often described as versatile, soulful, with engaging personal charm.
Jason studied guitar at the University of Redlands with Kenton Youngstrom and obtained his Bachelor of Music degree in Guitar Performance. Since then he's continued his education by taking lessons from various prolific guitarist such as Brett Garsed, Greg Howe and Sheryl Bailey.
Elle obtained her degree in Music Education from the University of Redlands, where she made the transition into voice studies with Lois Vaccariello. She studied saxophone with mentor and friend Brian Carlson.
Currently, gigging regularly as Jason & Elle and with the funk based group Groove Jones, playing a wide range of music which reflects their own broad musical tastes. They also work on assorted projects as solo artists and collaborators.
In 2009 they launched JAM University, offering private music lessons, managing student bands in different genres of music, hosting concerts and master classes by artists from their community and beyond. It is Jason and Elle's mission to provide opportunities for growth in and out of their teaching studio for musicians of all ages, so that they may achieve their fullest potential as artists, leaders, and global citizens.
